Introduction This Privacy Policy describes how the “Doc to Form Quiz Maker” add-on (the “Application”) collects, uses, and discloses information, and what choices you have with respect to that information.

Data Collection and Use The Application accesses your Google Workspace™ data solely for the purpose of functioning as a quiz generation tool and providing user support:

  • Google Docs™: The Application reads the text of your currently open Google Document to identify questions, options, and answers based on your formatting.
  • Google Form™: The Application creates a new Google Form™ and populates it with the data read from your Google Docs™.
  • User Information & Usage Data: The Application accesses your Google account email address and name. We securely log this information alongside basic app usage data (such as error codes, topic and quiz generation time). This data is collected strictly to identify any usage errors, troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and monitor app reliability.

Data Storage and Third-Party Services

  • Primary Processing & Content Security: The core processing of your quiz happens directly within the Google Workspace environment of your account. We do not extract, read, or store the actual content, questions, or answers of your documents on our servers. Only the operational telemetry mentioned above (name, email, and performance metrics) is transmitted to our secure server for app reliability, troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Mathematical Equations: To support complex formatting, if your document contains mathematical equations, the raw text of those specific equations is temporarily sent to a secure third-party rendering service solely to generate the equation images. No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or other document text is ever sent to this service.
  • No Data Selling: We do not transfer, sell, or share your personal data, email address, or document content with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third-party organizations.
  • Newsletter and promotional emails: To subscribe to our  e-newsletter emails, you can opt for it within the application menu.

Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use) Doc to Form Quiz Maker’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
