Each student starts at Level 3 (Medium). When they answer two questions correctly in a row, the next question they get is from Level 4 (Hard). When they get one wrong, the next question drops back to Level 2 (Easy). The engine adjusts after every answer, in real time.
Two students starting the same quiz at 9 a.m. will end up answering different questions by 9:15 a.m., based on how each is performing.
The category is different. Tools like ChatGPT, MagicSchool, and Brisk can generate quizzes; they help you put a quiz together quickly. Adapt IQ is a quiz delivery engine: it takes a question bank and adapts in real time so each student is challenged at their own level.
What they do well: They speed up content creation. Many teachers will continue to use them for first-draft questions.
What they do not do: Once a quiz is created, every student gets the same fixed set of questions, in the same order, at the same difficulty. There is no per-student adjustment during the quiz.

Each generation run produces between 5 and 30 questions. You can run as many generations as your Sparks balance allows. AI quality degrades with batch size; a 30-question prompt produces sharper, more diverse questions than a 100-question one. For a typical topic, 15 to 20 questions is the sweet spot. The adaptive engine then delivers the right ones to each student from your bank.
No. They visit the quiz link you share, enter their email or roll number, and start. No accounts, no logins, no app downloads. Their ability progression is tracked in your Google Sheet using the email or roll number as the key.
