50 slash codes for ChatGPT
One short code, one study job done for you: an explanation, a set of notes, a quiz, an outline or a grammar check. This is the complete list behind our post, all 50 codes, grouped by what they help you do, so you can copy them straight into ChatGPT.
How to use a code
Each code is a short label for one study task. Type the code first, then add your topic or paste your own text, and ChatGPT will know what to do with it.
- Pick the job you need done. Browse the five groups below and choose the code that matches.
- Type the code, then your topic. For example:
/explain photosynthesis - Stack codes for bigger jobs. Use one code, read the answer, then follow up with another.
Example. Say you have a Science test on Monday. Start with /explain for the chapter, then /shortnotes to make revision notes, then /quizme to test yourself. If ChatGPT ever seems unsure what a code means, write the instruction in plain words, for example "explain this like I'm 5".
